CRI POSTHARVEST WORKSHOPS / CRI NA-OES WERKSWINKELS

The six annual Postharvest Workshops presented by CRI are key to prepare the citrus postharvest industry for the upcoming season. Attended by over 1000 delegates, role players include CRI and CGA staff, representatives from DALRRD and PPECB, chemical companies and service providers, as well as personnel from citrus packhouses ranging from the whole of southern Africa. Presentations cover pressing issues related to fruit quality and shelf life to comply with market requirements as well as related topics like logistics, cooling etc. The workshop is held over 2 half days, allowing ample networking and socialising time.
