Course Summary:

Water is a valuable and scarce resource and more and more pressure will be experienced in the future to increase the water and nutrient use efficiency. These days most of the nutrients are applied through the irrigation system and if the efficiency of the irrigation system is questionable the nutrient application will also be questionable. This irrigation course will focus on the effective management of soil moisture. Join us in discussing basic principles of irrigation scheduling on when and how much to irrigate and to plan and adjust accordingly.
