Hano Maree is a Biotechnology researcher and serves as the Programme Coordinator for the HLB Research Programme. His primary research focus revolves around graft transmissible diseases in perennial fruit crops, with particular emphasis on CTV and HLB, utilizing cutting-edge molecular approaches. The use of High Throughput Sequencing (HTS) and advanced bioinformatics has been pivotal to his research group’s investigations, allowing for the in-depth study of host-pathogen interactions and the development of innovative HTS-based or conventional detection assays for pests and diseases.
